Gnoppix is a Open Source Project

Info

Where everyone is welcome to Join Gnoppix and share his ideas, we’re not a company (smile)

Gnoppix will provide you with a secure, anti-forensic, and anonymous operating system considering all features that a person who is concerned about privacy would need.

It is very easy to use: all you have to do is boot it up on your PC via USB drive, and you should have a fully running operating system with established VPN connection, Tor connection, and DNScrypt service running. There is no setup or Linux knowledge required from your side; it is secure by default.

The entire OS is functional from your temporary memory RAM, so once you shut it down, no trace is left behind - All your activities are wiped out.

Info

Gnoppix was first publicly announced in June 2003.

Gnoppix is and has always been based on Debian Linux with a few parts of Kali Arch Linux. Gnoppix comes complete with a set of additional software repositories containing the latest 64-bit versions of the latest desktop environment/framework/toolkit.

Info

An i5, 2GB RAM, and 20GB hard disk/USB/RAM partition is a very good system for running Gnoppix Linux. If you use an old computer (i386), we provide you with a Gnoppix i386 image.

Gnoppix Linux started in 2002 with the focus of allowing users to run a Linux operating system for any purpose without installing it or making any changes to the computer's configuration. My focus this time was that you can use it as a rescue system to troubleshoot and fix common boot problems, such as repairing the file system, restoring the boot loader, editing configuration files, or resetting the administrator password.

Tip

Everything we make is 100% open source and developed collaboratively by people for people all over the world. There are no restrictions. Even if you're not a programmer, you can get involved and make a difference.
