Gnoppix Root Password

Gnoppix Root Pass

The default root password for the livecd is empty. This means that you do not need to enter a password when logging in. However, if you’re asked for a password use:

gnoppix

as password. If you’re asked for a root password (again which is not set) you can reset this by running the following command in a terminal:

sudo passwd root
