How to get Gnoppix

Gnoppix Linux is supported on amd64 (x86_64/64-bit) i386 (x86/32-bit) and ARM platforms.

Where possible, we would recommend using the amd64 images. The hardware requirements are minimal as listed in the documentation, although better hardware will naturally provide better performance. You should be able to use Gnoppix Linux on newer hardware with UEFI and older systems with BIOS.

Our i386 images, by default use a PAE kernel, so you can run them on systems with over 4 GB of RAM.

We typically release a new version every 14 days, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and new software. For instance, the February 15, 2024, release (version 24.2.15) was publicly available on March 1st.

Gnoppix Members/Supporters/Patrons get early access immediately to these all releases (like version 24.2, 24.2.1 or 24.2.15).

We offer 3 Versions of Gnoppix Linux

  • Gnoppix member can download images member server of course this does NOT include the PRO Version.
