Enable Gnoppix Search in Copilot

With Gnoppix Copilot you can enable Web Search you can connect our privacy based meta-search engine that allows you to search multiple search engines simultaneously and anonymously. Users prefer Gnoppix Search because it provides quick and comprehensive results from various sources, including popular search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo!, DuckDuckGo, and more.

 

Navigate to Admin Settings > Web Search

Make sure “Enable Web Search” is enabled (green) Switch to “searxng”

add https://search.gnoppix.org/search?q=<query>

press “Save”

Using Web Search in a Chat

To access Web Search, Click on the + next to the message input field.

Here you can toggle Web Search On/Off.

Note:

You will have to expicitly toggle this On/Off in a chat.

This is enabled on a per session basis e.g. reloading the page, changing to another chat will toggle off.

 

You can, of course, use other search engines. However, this could potentially compromise your privacy as you may not know who is operating them.
